Intuition
Many people consider intuition to be the "sixth sense." It's been labeled ESP, or Extra Sensory Perception, and put on a shelf as a special sense, something not present in every person.
Intuition is where it all begins. You are intuitive.
Think of a time when you saw an unexpected way out. A solution to a problem you hadn't considered or a feeling of knowing the answer.
What did it feel like when you met the person who would become your best friend ... or when you met somebody who has caused trouble in your life?
Did you just ... know? It felt like instinct?
Animals have instincts. They can sense a storm coming or know how best to escape a flood.
We are animals too, though sometimes we forget this. Our bodies are wired for intuitive knowing.

Intuition isn't a guess or an idea. It isn't loud like the thoughts in your head. Intuition is a quiet knowing that you feel. Intuition may share its wisdom with you through dreams. Maybe you FEEL something in your heart. Maybe you get goose bumps on your skin or a twist deep in your belly. Intuition is subtle, but powerful. It communicates with you in quiet moments. Make time to be still and quiet and let your intuition rise to meet you in those spaces.
Your body has three main intuition centers.
1. Your Head - Specifically a tiny gland in the very center of your brain called the Pineal Gland. Sometimes this is referred to as your "Third Eye," but it's more for seeing inside rather than the world around you. This gland is the seat of your dreams and imagination.
2. Your Heart - A place of feeling rather than thinking. When you wonder how to solve a problem that your brain can't fix, imagine that thought sliding down into your heart. Ask your heart what to do - ask your heart how you really feel about the problem. The answers you get there may surprise you.
3. Your Gut - Gut instinct is real. Have you ever felt a flutter in your stomach when you met somebody who you knew would be a great friend? How about a twisting in your belly when you were somewhere you knew you shouldn't be. Your belly communicates with a deep wisdom that you would do well to listen to. Don't let the noise of your thoughts drown out the messages from your gut.
